Everybody is always asking me what I’m listening to, I guess the internet only works for me. A lot of people claim they don’t have time to find new music so they just listen to whatever they think everybody else is listening to- or don’t listen at all. On my end- it takes WAY to much time to beg everybody to listen to a tape or check out an artist, or even send out links to as many people ask me for them. So here’s my gift to everyone since paying for black music is no longer cool. I’ve compiled a bunch of tapes that came out this year and posted them in no particular order. There’s a bunch of them- so you’ll have to hit the next button at the bottom of the page a few times to see them all.
Everything I’ve posted was given out for de free99 by the artists themeslves, and it’s all good music. I’m sure I forgot a TON of other stuff, I compiled this list from 4 - 6am using nothing more than Google, my iTunes, and memory for what got me through 2009- so nothing personal if your tape or your favorite artist got left off.
